Basaltfiber rebar seawater environmental exposure for half a yea,FRP Composite material and structure lab take the Basalt Fiber Rebar into beach splash zone

After 6 months aging, despite basalt fiber rebar with some moss on surface, but it’s appearance without any changing, surface sand-spraying in good condition, no fiber exposure

 

Results shown: compared with before aging, the tensile modulus and tensile strength remain unchanged (less than 5%)
